Beauty Makeup vs. Your Makeup, Where is the Gap

As you can see from the title of this article, we are going to discuss the gap that needs to be closed to make sure that our makeups look picture perfect. So what is it actually? Where is the difference between the application of makeup by a professional and a novice or a layman? The primary difference lies in the “order” of the application of the makeup ingredients. When we are out in the market, we find a plethora of makeup elements. So we buy anything and everything that we feel is going to be useful for us. That doesn’t happen in reality. Do you know why?

Even though we have got a lot of makeup tools, we are not aware of when to use what. That’s exactly where it is messed up. Thus, in this article, we are going to give you a heads-up on how to get your makeup on point. No, this is not a tutorial on  how to apply makeup to look beautiful. It is about what to do to ensure that your makeup looks perfect.The order of makeup application is tricky because you have to know what exactly comes first.

The first thing that you need to do is skincare. Just like you need preparation before everything, similarly, your skin needs that preparation too. While applying makeup, always start with skincare and a primer. You can also opt for luminizing eye cream or a good lip balm if lips or eyes are going to be the highlight of your look.

The next thing that you need to do is complete the eyebrows and eyelashes before applying the foundation. This is because you can change or clean up under the eyes if needed without damaging the concealer or foundation, especially if you are going for a heavier eye look.

Next is to go for the foundation. Work on the foundation and then go for blending theoverall complexion. Here is where you get to see the coverage of the foundation and the finish of it comes into play.

Next, the concealer comes into play. A lot of times you will be surprised by how much the foundation layer can cover without adding any concealer. If the face is still not covered by the foundation then you can opt for the concealer.

The final one is the bronze brush highlighter, the lips and then the translucent powder or spray. Once the skin tone is set, you can opt for colors on cheeks. In case you mess up you can use the blender.
